Job entails walking, cleaning, feeding, medicating, and socializing the dogs we have in house. Weekend morning and afternoons are a must. Thank you to the team Love for Love City for once again putting together a mercy flight for some dogs and cats in need from St. John, St. Thomas, and Tortola. 100 animals flew out this morning to wonderful rescues stateside. Six puppies and 2 adult dogs left from the ACC. A big thank you to Cassidy and Stray Rescue of St. Louis for once again opening your shelter doors for these wonderful animals. This is the same rescue that helped with a dog of ours named Willy if you can remember his comeback story. Currently this leaves us with only 4 dogs in house which is one of the best positions that the ACC has been in sometime. The summer months are always the hardest for us since we cant move dogs on commercial flights due to temperature restrictions. We tend to be over capacity going into storm seasons so today is a day to celebrate. With that said our work is never ending and we are still trying to cover expenses following the storms. If anyone is looking to make donations, monetary donations are crucial for our rescue to continue. As always this is a team effort and your support means everything so these animals can go on to have healthy loving lives.

Thank you to everyone involved, everyone who donated, and everyone who attended. As usually there are just so many wonderful people and businesses to thank. With your support the ACC raised over $5,000!!!!! It was not an easy task putting this event together considering what a lot of people have gone through, and are still going through in the last 8 months. We are just happy everyone was able to enjoy the evening. As always we still have a lot of work to do and we will continue to do our best for the animals.

He is very sweet with people but probably would do best in a home with no other animals especially cats. He will need a fenced in yard, but it will be wonderful for him because he is a very active dog who loves to run and go for long hikes. He does not deserve to live out his life in a kennel. Please consider giving this gentle dog a loving home.
