As we work our way into Spring we start to get more calls about kittens. Even though our monthly spay neuter has been going well, we do anticipate getting kittens into the shelter over the next few months.
Little George Michael (pictured) is hoping to get some donations to stock our food pantry so that we will be ready for any kittens that come our way. This morning we just opened our last box of canned kitten food.
We have a wonderful wish list on Amazon Wish List where donations can be purchased and will be mailed directly to us. Along with canned kitten food, we are in great need of dry kitten chow, and KMR Kitten Formula. All these items are essential for the care of the kittens we get in.

The ACC would like to thank our friend and supporter Jenn @Explore STJ - Island Tours, Realtor & Blog for not only raising funds for us but also St. John Rescue at the start of April. Over $30,000 was raised which was split between both our non profits. Jenn has helped raise thousands of dollars for the ACC and other non profits on St. John over the years.

The Animal Care Center (ACC) of St. John is located in Cruz Bay. The ACC addresses the problems of cruelty to, neglect and abuse of island animals. The shelter provides kennels for homeless dogs and inside cages for a limited number of homeless cats.
The ACC is a stable resource for the community, providing a no-kill shelter for homeless animals, a resource for animal lovers to find perfect pets, programs for island needs, and a community educational component.
